Wanted to use the Sauna and Turkish bath and I asked at what time these were open. I was told that from 7 am I could used them and I prepared my day accordingly. When I got there by 8 am they were not working because they were being cleaned. Uff!

I had a great stay overall. The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. When I first arrived, my room was a connecting room, and as a woman travelling alone on a business trip, I didn’t feel comfortable having an additional door in the room. I contacted reception, and the staff resolved the situation immediately by moving me to a room that better suited my needs.Any time I needed assistance, the team was more than happy to help and made me feel very well looked after. The location is also a big plus — it’s close to local shops, with coffee shops right next door, which was very convenient.Overall, I would definitely stay here again and really appreciate all the staff for their excellent service.

I informed the property before going and they made it a very special and wonderful stay. Gurkan at the reception was exceptional for his professionalism and sweetness. He made sure we had everything we need and trued to make our stay perfect every chance he got. He even helped me book taxi and got me packed breakfast when my checkout was early morning.

staff were great, breakfast was great, great options and frankly it was the best thing I ate in Istanbul. breakfast staff were great as well as the room cleaning staff. everything you hear about Turkish people not being friendly is nonsense, they were amazing, especially in the hotel, I saw one of the staff give free water to an old guest even though its actually supposed to be paid. kindness like this goes a very long way in making people come back to the hotel and to the country as well, bravo.

I didn't like that I was given a room on the road when they could have given me an inner room. you only get omlette in breakfast, if you want any other type its charged. the coffee was horrible, so was the hot chocolate, if you want proper coffee you'll have to pay extra which is a bit odd for breakfast. but in saying all of this, the food is great to the point that you forget about the sunny side up eggs... these are minor things and I wouldnt fault the hotel for it, but at least offer better coffee options as standardon my last day waiting for the airport shuttle, I really didnt like that the managers were forcing one of the staff members to help put christmas decorations on a Christmas tree when he clearly didnt want to participate for religious reasons, he mentioned that as a Muslim he doesnt want to do this, other staff were okay with doing it, but he didn't want to and his religious choices should be respected, especially that its a Muslim majority country. and that the hotel has a prayer room and is supposed to be Muslim-friendly. No one should be forced to hang decorations for festivals they dont agree to, all religions should be respected. especially when there are enough staff that are okay with hanging the decorations, etc... I wouldnt agree to see a Christian staff be forced to fast in ramadan because his/her faith should be respected, similarly a Muslim staff who doesnt want to hang christmas decorations on a tree shouldnt be forced to do so.would I stay again? YES

Spacious corner room, overall fresh interiors. Breakfast is decent with good selection for 4-star standards. Gym is properly equiped, sauna and pool is also decent. Nice cleaning lady and some well mannered staff members.

Room windows are horribly dirty and lack effective sealing, letting in street noise and even winds. Had to close blackout curtains to maintain proper room temperature in winter. Carpets and linen have lots of damages with random qualities. Some staff members are indifferent.

It was my first time to book at ibis Styles Istanbul Merter. And to be honest I was very satisfied with every thing. Every time I leave my room I called the reception to send someone to clean the room and once back it was really clean ! Also they will help in parking the car at anytime You arrive to hotel. Finally, the breakfast was nice ! Definitely I will book again !

Room was dirty with poor supplies and very old and teared sheets , the air ventilation felt down while we were sleeping after midnight.. I told the staff but they act like it’s normal thing I don’t know how it’s classified with 5 stars !!

Everything was perfect, reception, breakfast, comfort bed and neatness.

For me as one who is doing business in merter the location was perfect since it is located at the heart of the wholesale market of merter, the rooms are spacious , clean and quiet, the breakfast was rich and the staff was helpful

On weekends the swimming pool and fitness area opens late

The hotel location is very far takes too long with tram way to reach central locations the rooms are old, not maintained and not cleaned properly. Carpets were dirty. The breakfast was poor.

Comfortable bed, got upgraded, very kind reception staff and high quality spa/gym.

Breakfast can be improved, location is very far from downtown and public transportation is poor.

The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful across all touchpoints, from the concierge to the reception team. The superior room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The hotel also has a great Espressolab café, which was a nice addition and very convenient.

While the room size was impressive, the bed was a full size instead of a king, which did not meet my expectations. The carpet appears worn out with visible stains and is due for replacement. The bathroom sink is quite small and not very practical, as water spills outside when washing hands. The breakfast area is large, but the buffet section is placed in a narrow corner, causing congestion and making it uncomfortable to access. The food options were also limited, and I expected more variety.

The staff were extremely professional and welcoming throughout my stay. I really appreciated their helpful attitude and quick service whenever I needed something. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and everything, from the lobby to the rooms, felt fresh and comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and relaxing, giving a nice sense of comfort after long days out.

There wasn’t really anything major to dislike. If I had to mention something, maybe the location is a bit away from the main tourist spots, but transportation is easy enough. Otherwise, everything met my expectations.

Tram T1 was 5 minutes walk, it took 40 minutes to get to the old center of Istanbul. Parking on the street and on the property. Front desk speaks good English and are very helpful. Amazing continental breakfast. Comfortable bed, modern hotel

Stuff was really friendly, swimming pool was a bit cold, but nice, spa area was also good. The room and the bed were quet comfortable and cosy. Breakfas was delicious and very variable.

Just I felt a smell of smoking in the room, but I was to tired to go to change the room, so I do not complain a lot about it.

We are repeat guests as we find the rooms quite large and the beds very comfortable. The personnel is accommodating.

The carpet in the room is stained.The breakfast used to be richer. This time we found less variety. Still there are enough choises for all tastes.
